The RCL-300A, which will MSRP at $6,600, began shipping to dealers last month. The powerful, 1 million-candela* searchlight is a highly functional, dual 35W lamp HID (High Intensity Discharge) design featuring twin first, surface, parabolic reflectors capable of producing a steady and reliable beam penetrating even the harshest of conditions. Perfect for vessels 45 feet and larger, the RCL-300A is controlled via a hard-wired remote controlled Point Pad™ and is capable of rotating 360 degrees with a 45-degree elevation arc. An auto return feature (which can be disabled) brings the light back to a pre-set position. Saltwater-resistant construction with nylon phenolic washers, aluminized stainless steel screws with insulating lubricant and rugged, triple-primed, sealed, marine grade aluminum housing, can be mounted to exposed areas. The HID lamps are rated for 1,000 hours of use and the Master Control Unit includes the XRCiZ feature that will periodically rotate the light to keep running gears free from corrosion. Constructed of cast aluminum and tempered glass, the RCL-300 measures 12 x 13 x 9.3 in (31 x 33 x 23.5 cm) and weighs 36 lbs (16.4 kg).
